Privacy policy

What we collect

If you check out, Stripe collects your name, email, payment details, UK delivery address and F-gas certificate number to take payment, confirm you may buy HFC refrigerant, and so we can fulfil the order. We receive order information from Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on this site. If you email us, we keep the content of that correspondence. The basket, wishlist and theme preference are stored in your browser (localStorage) and are not sent to us until you start checkout.

Why we use it

Contract: to take payment, ship your order and handle returns. Legal obligation: F-gas supply records, tax and consumer-law records. Legitimate interests: to answer enquiries and keep the shop secure. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising networks.

Cookies and similar storage

Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) we ask for a choice on non-essential storage. Essential storage is required for the basket and checkout. We do not set advertising cookies. You can reject non-essential storage via the banner. See also our cookie banner on first visit.

Processors and transfers

Stripe processes payments. Hosting may be provided by Vercel. Their locations can include countries outside the UK; they use appropriate safeguards. We do not operate social logins.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, or data portability, and you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). We keep order and F-gas supply records as long as needed for tax, safety and consumer-law purposes.
